Darren is pacing back and forth.  Daniel is sitting with Michelle, Anna, Nicole, and Ben reading a magazine, chuckling and shaking his head.  "Daz, for Christ's Sake.  Why don't you sit down?"  "I can't.  I just can't.  When will we know?"  "I don't know.  I am not making the decisions here.  Relax, we'll find out soon enough."

In the room down the hall, Jennifer Wilson Hayes is in labor and about to have her and Darren's first baby.  She has been in labor for 14 hours and doesn't think she can take anymore of this.............

Just as soon as she thought that, the doctor says, "OK, Mrs. Hayes, come on, push again."  The doctor turns to a nurse and says, "You better get the father."

A nurse goes down the hall and says, "Mr. Hayes?  You can come in.  It's about to happen."  They had kept Darren outside because it was a difficult labor and having him there might un nerve him too much, which of course would upset Jennifer.

Darren raced down the hall and into the room to the applause of his mates who are shouting at him "May the force be with you Dazza!", where they supplied him with a gown and mask.  He rushed over to Jen and said, "Oh, Jen baby, are you OK?"  "Oh Darren, yeah, I'm fine, never better."  "Well, ya, that was a stupid question."  The doctor again says, "Come on,  Mrs. Hayes, it's almost over.  PUSH!"

Jennifer sat up with Darren's assistance and gave it one good push.  "OK, there's the head!"  "Come on, Jen, just a little more, push, baby."  "Darren, PLEASE, who's having this baby?"  "OK, OK."  "Darren, oh, God, oh shit, ahhhhhhhhh.  NEVER AGAIN!  DO YOU HEAR ME DARREN HAYES?"  "Push Jen, push."  "Darren..........................!!!!!!!!!!!!"  Finally..........

There was the cry of a newborn Hayes in the room.  A boy named Bryan Michael.

Darren kissed his wife and had tears of happiness running down his face, as did Jennifer.  "JEN!!!!!  We have a son!!!!  God, he's so beautiful!"  Jennifer is crying and looking at the baby and looking at Darren.  "Oh Darren, he's beautiful.  He has your eyes.  Should we name him Luke Skywalker?"  They are both crying and laughing and thinking their son is the most beautiful baby in the world.

This song was no longer Colby's.  That was the past and this was DARREN'S new beginning.  It was for Jennifer and Darren..
