The movie Volcano is an action packed movie. It keep my interest the whole movie. In the move a shift in the earth's crust opens a volcano vent under the La Brea Tar Pits. It also threatens the city of L.A. with imminent destruction unless it is stopped. Mike Roark, played by Tommy Lee Jones, is the head of the Los Angeles Emergency Management Office. He is divorced and is trying to go on vacation to be a better father to his daughter. He is about to leave but the volcano eruptions keeps him at work. Tons of lava flows down streets of L.A. As the fire, police, and emergency departments try to control the flow of the fire and put it out. The lave makes it way into the subway tunnels and head right for the hospital. They use explosive to put a building in front of the lava and move it to the ocean.
This move had some great effectes. The lava is belivable. When the lava kills the men and destroys the buildings and car it is belivable
