History
Hayt is the middle child of a large family. Since he has begun adventuring he has lost contact with his family. They fled from Ergoth to avoid a false conviction of selling and receiving stolen goods in the family's curiosity shop. The accusation was leveled by the Brindenahl family who also helped along the conviction. Since then the Brindenahl family has acquired the use of an unsavory guild to spy on Hayt and report his whereabouts. As a young child Hayt realized he had a talent for magic and when he was old enough he went to study at the Academy. There he turned his natural affinity with storms into practical use and joined the Fraternal Order of Storm Magus. They are a close knit group of about 100 who do their best to help each other whenever needed. Hayt has a tendency to desire things he cannot afford because since his arrival in Abanasinia the family business has not been as successful as they once were. Whenever possible Hayt tries to visit the seriously ill. When he was a child he became gravely ill but managed to survive with no lasting effects. He has always had a soft spot for the ill or dying since then. Hayt is accompanied wherever he goes by a rather unusual mount. As a child he came across a baby elephant that had been left for dead after the mother had been killed for sport. He nursed the elephant back to health and now it is a very loyal and devoted companion. His name is Goliath. Finally, Hayt has a dark secret. As the result of some sort of magical accident at the Academy Hayt now has an alter ego. Just like the storms he loves Hayt is prone the periods of calm but also periods of uncontrolled fury. It is during These bouts of rage that his hidden self comes forward. His alter ego calls herself Skyfury and claims to be the spirit of a blue dragon (Demeanor - Obsessive and scheming, 9 moons, Nature - Wrathful, 7 Dragons). When Hayt regains control he is often appalled at the actions Skyfury has taken and usually has to quickly disappear.
