A2: The Word of God, which is contained in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, is the only rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy Him. PRAYER OF A REPENTANT HEART Levitucus 19:5 and 2Corinthians 7: 9-11(Meeting God in the way that is acceptable to Him) "And if you offer a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, you shall offer it of your own free will."Read the whole passage for full understanding. And"7:9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter." Risen Lord and Saviour, You are our Only Hope in this life and in the life to come. We come before You in repentance regarding our sin. We have not kept our minds and hearts pure. We have lusted in the flesh for things which you have forbidden. We have neglected those things that You have given for our good and Your glory. We have been prideful , taking credit for doing that which You alone have given us grace and strength to do. We have allowed our lips to speak and our eyes to see that which has served only to war against our souls. Praise You for Your forgiveness to us. Thank You that our names are written on the palms of Your pierced, blood stained hands, and may this truth help us hate our sin and forsake it. May we show our love to You though faithful obedience. REFLECTIONS OF JESUS' PRESENCE I am thanking Jesus for all things! I have joy and peace because Jesus reigns in my life! I have patience because Jesus has patience with me! I am merciful and compationate because Jesus is merciful and compassionate with me! I speak with gentleness and boldness because Jesus speaks through gentleness and boldness! I come with contrite and humbled heart before God because that is required! I put my faith in Jesus for all things because Jesus is faithful in all things!
