Titanic

We Have Struck An Iceberg!

Information

Plot

The big oceanliner R.M.S Titanic is on her maidenvoyage. The White Star Line-president J. Bruce Ismay wants to break the Altantic speed record. He tells captain Smith to go as fast as possible. The nice German Officer Petersen tries to warn the captain about the iceberg but does he listen? Guess? This was a German Nazi-propaganda. The first class passengers are English snobs and the poor third class passenger who is looked up when the ship sinks are nice German immigrants.
Herbert Selpin started the directing. He used persons from the German marine for crew. When the "crew" started to flirt with the girls on the set he got mad and shouted "Shit marine!". He went to jail for this and commited "suicide".
Werner Klingler finnished the movie.
