Someone Special
I met someone today, that I never thought I could.
Has always been around, I just never thought I would.
Is very kind and caring, that special kind of friend
Always there to lend a hand, is with you till the end.
That someone special I met today,
is because of what you do,
I am the special someone, and it's because of all of you.
You took the smile within me, and put it on my face, you
took the sadness in my heart, and put it in its place.
You truly are an Artist, with a gift to change a life

Dr. Kagan,
This is the letter I wrote to you the night I was leaving to go to get married. Just by seeing the big beautiful smiles in your office I felt none of you really knew how sad I was. I had not even bought a wedding dress less than a week before my wedding day. I was so embarrassed about my teeth I did not even want to get married. I surely did not want any pictures of myself.
You changed my life in ways you will never begin to imagine. I never smiled because of my teeth, so people thought I was mean, or mad. I could see people look at my teeth and I would pull back.
Now, every person I walk up to smiles at me. I'm sure it is because I smile all the time. I am the same person, but because I am not so embarrassed the real me is able to be seen by everyone I meet. Thank you so much all of you. I used to be afraid to come to the dentist, and now I can't wait to see you guys. Thanks again!
