You look around,
all you see are walls;
unscaleable, unshakeable.
The walls you see
are your own,
put up by you
to protect yourself from harm;
from the harsh reality you
are forced to face everyday.
You once let them
climb over your icy walls
but once inside all they did
was hurt you.
They didn't care,
so now you're walls are
up even higher.
No-one ever listened,
ever cared
ever wonder "Why?"
Oh..but you know
all too well
what it's like to hurt
that much that you
want out.
That you don't see a
point to living,
to breathing.
Your walls seems to be
closing in around you.
You can't breathe,
you can't see.
Why fight it?
It's what you've always
longed for right?
Give into it.
The dark enfolds you
and is gentle in its
embrace.
The mist fogs your memory.
It's getting darker
and colder.
Before you
close your eyes
the last thing
you see are your walls
and wonder if it was
worth it but who cares
about the answer as you
take your last breath
and succumb to the
dark.
