Here are some real dumb crimes that have taken place in real life the real names of the people that were involved and where they live has been left out so they can live there lives without being tracked down and laughed at.
There was a guy once (not to bright) who desided that he was going to fire bomb a building so he gathered all the things that he would need to make a fire bomb: the bottle, gasoline, and the rest of the stuff ect. He drove out the the building and lit the wick on the bottle. He then threw the bottle at the roof of this particular building and watched the PLASTIC bottle bounce off the roof--Damages: burnt lawn
The next one is a case of a friction fire(thats where the house morgage rubs against the house insurance) This particular guy first set fire to his bed. He then watched to make sure it was going really well before he exited the home in full view of his neighbors. Soon after his departure a blast of fire leaped out of the frount door and windows. But soon after the flames died down and went out. On further inspection of the fire by the fire dept. it was discovered that this particular person had set fire to his WATER BED--Damages: Destroyed water bed, smoke and minor fire damage to home.
Now unlike the others this one was sucessful due to a not so observant sales person at a boat shop. Two guys walked into this boat shop lifted a canoe and headed out the door. Suddenly a salesperson stopped the two on the way out. Both of the crooks feared that they had been caught but were soon relieved when the salesperson presented them with two paddles and life vests that come with every purchase of a canoe--Damages: Missing canoe, 2 paddles and 2 life vest. Oh and one fired salesperson
Another sucessful crime... Two uniformed people, one female dressed in an armor car uniform and a man dressed in a service uniform, entered a 24 hour store and the female flashed the cashier a workorder for the atm. Thinking nothing of it the cashier went on about his buisness as the two criminals removed the atm from the store in full view of customers and the attendant---Damages: Stolen ATM and the cash inside
Back to the failed crimes... Woman drives to a auto service station for her car's tune-up (yes she did just happen to be blonde). When the service attendant popped the hood to check/change the oil he discovered several bags of weed stuffed in arround the engine... When the police questioned her later about it she answered "I didnt know that they opened the hood to check and change the oil."-- She was found gulity
Man enters an electronics store carring a pair of scissor he had just reasantly stole, walking round the store he notices a tv sitting on a counter near the door. Slowly he walks over to it and when the close is clear grabs the tv and cuts the plug with the scissor instead of pulling the plug out of the wall (his idea that would take too much time)---Damages: smashed TV with cut cord, fused scissor, and second degree electrical burns to would be thief's hands.
