Site Index & Mariners Research links

The following is an index to my website, together with some interesting maritime genealogy research links. I am indebted to Debbie Beavis for permission to use much of her material on tracing British seamen. Debbie's site adress is listed below. She is one of the owners of the Rootsweb Mariners List. Anyone searching for mariner ancestors should belong to this list. You can join free of charge by sending an E-mail to Mariners-L-Request@rootsweb.com with SUBSCRIBE in the message section & nothing else. This will bring you around a dozen or more messages a day on marine research, or if you do not want to receive that many messages you can join in digest mode by which you get one consolidated message per day, by putting D in place of L in the above address. Once a member you can post requests for help or information to the list.
