The Cross Chiasmic Structure of  "The Book of Revlation"

Our Lord was Crucified

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified, [Revelation 11:7-8].

Make war against them

Crucified... dead bodies... kill them

(c.f. Thomas 55)
(cf. Thomas 54, 53)

[Revelation 11:3] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
[11:4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
[11:5] And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

[11:6] These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

(cf. Thomas 56)

[Revelation 11:9] And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
[11:10] And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
(cf. Thomas 52)

[10:8] And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
[10:9] And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
[10:10] And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
[10:11] And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
[11:1] And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
[11:2] But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

(cf. Thomas 57)

[11:11] And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
[11:12] And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
[11:13] And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
[11:14] The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
[11:15] And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
[11:16] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
[11:17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
[11:18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come,
(cf. Thomas 51)

[10:5] And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
[10:6] And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
[10:7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

The Kingdom

The Head of the Bodily Structure
Of the Perfected Spirit - Body

The Christ / The Elect:
Who Recognize
A Realized Eschatology of the Kingdom

(51) His disciples said to him, "When will the repose of the dead come about, and when will the new world come?"
He said to them, "What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it."

(cf. Thomas 58)

and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
[11:19] And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

(cf. Thomas 50)

[10:1] And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
[10:2] And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
[10:3] And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
[10:4] And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

Inner Left Male
Chiasm Sayings

(50) Jesus said, "If they say to you, 'Where did you come from?', say to them, 'We came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord and established itself and became manifest through their image.' If they say to you, 'Is it you?', say, 'We are its children, we are the elect of the living father.' If they ask you, 'What is the sign of your father in you?', say to them, 'It is movement and repose.'"

The first left saying of the outer female chiasm starts out with a question about the "circumcision". The first left saying of the inner male chiasm mentions the "elect". These may be clues as to the persons these two chiasms represent.

Chiasm Sayings

(52) His disciples said to him, "Twenty-four prophets spoke in Israel, and all of them spoke in you."
He said to them, "You have omitted the one living in your presence and have spoken (only) of the dead."

In Israel

Spoke in Israel

Spoke in you
(cf. Thomas 59)

[12:1] And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
[12:2] And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

(cf. Thomas 49)

[9:17] And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
[9:18] By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
[9:19] For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
[9:20] And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
[9:21] Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
(49) Jesus said, "Blessed are the solitary and elect, for you will find the kingdom. For you are from it, and to it you will return."

Elect
(53) His disciples said to him, "Is circumcision beneficial or not?"
He said to them, "If it were beneficial, their father would beget them already circumcised from their mother. Rather, the true circumcision in spirit has become completely profitable."

Circumcision
(cf. Thomas 60)

[12:3] And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
[12:4] And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
[12:5] And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
[12:6] And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
(cf. Thomas 48)

[9:11] And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
[9:12] One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
[9:13] And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
[9:14] Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
[9:15] And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
[9:16] And the number of the army of the horsemen were hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
(48) Jesus said, "If two make peace with each other in this one house, they will say to the mountain, 'Move Away,' and it will move away."

If  two make peace

Mountain move away

(54) Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor, for yours is the kingdom of heaven."

Blessed are the poor

The kingdom of heaven
(cf. Thomas 61)

[12:7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[12:8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
[12:9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
[12:10] And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
[12:11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
(cf. Thomas 47)

[9:6] And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
[9:7] And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
[9:8] And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
[9:9] And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
[9:10] And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
(47) Jesus said, "It is impossible for a man to mount two horses or to stretch two bows. And it is impossible for a servant to serve two masters; otherwise, he will honor the one and treat the other contemptuously. No man drinks old wine and immediately desires to drink new wine. And new wine is not put into old wineskins, lest they burst; nor is old wine put into a new wineskin, lest it spoil it. An old patch is not sewn onto a new garment, because a tear would result."

It is impossible... to serve two masters
(55) Jesus said, "Whoever does not hate his father and his mother cannot become a disciple to me. And whoever does not hate his brothers and sisters and take up his cross in my way will not be worthy of me."

Whoever does not hate his father and mother cannot become a disciple to me
(cf. Thomas 62, 63)

[12:12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
[12:13] And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
[12:14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
[12:15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
[12:16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
[12:17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

[13:1] And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
[13:2] And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
[13:3] And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
[13:4] And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
[13:5] And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
[13:6] And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
[13:7] And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
[13:8] And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
[13:9] If any man have an ear, let him hear.
(cf. Thomas 46)

neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
[9:5] And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

(46) Jesus said, "Among those born of women, from Adam until John the Baptist, there is no one so superior to John the Baptist that his eyes should not be lowered (before him). Yet I have said, whichever one of you comes to be a child will be acquainted with the kingdom and will become superior to John."

Those born of women, from Adam until John the Baptist

(56) Jesus said, "Whoever has come to understand the world has found (only) a corpse, and whoever has found a corpse is superior to the world."

Whoever has come to understand the world i.e.The world before or without Christ
(cf. Thomas 64)

13:10] He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
[13:11] And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
[13:12] And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
[13:13] And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
[13:14] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
[13:15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
[13:16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[13:17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
[13:18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
(cf. Thomas 45)

[9:1] And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
[9:2] And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
[9:3] And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
[9:4] And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing,
(45) Jesus said, "Grapes are not harvested from thorns, nor are figs gathered from thistles, for they do not produce fruit. A good man brings forth good from his storehouse; an evil man brings forth evil things from his evil storehouse, which is in his heart, and says evil things. For out of the abundance of the heart he brings forth evil things."

Grapes, figs

Thorns, thistles

Harvested
(57) Jesus said, "The kingdom of the father is like a man who had good seed. His enemy came by night and sowed weeds among the good seed. The man did not allow them to pull up the weeds; he said to them, 'I am afraid that you will go intending to pull up the weeds and pull up the wheat along with them.' For on the day of the harvest the weeds will be plainly visible, and they will be pulled up and burned."

(cf. Thomas 65)

[14:1] And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
[14:2] And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
[14:3] And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
[14:4] These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
[14:5] And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
[14:6] And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
[14:7] Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
(cf. Thomas 44)

[8:13] And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

(44) Jesus said, "Whoever blasphemes against the father will be forgiven, and whoever blasphemes against the son will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes against the holy spirit will not be forgiven either on earth or in heaven."

Whoever blasphemes
against the son will be forgiven

Will not be forgiven
(58) Jesus said, "Blessed is the man who has suffered and found life."

(59) Jesus said, "Take heed of the living one while you are alive, lest you die and seek to see him and be unable to do so."

Blessed is the man who has suffered
and found life

Lest you die and seek to see him and be unable to do so
(cf. Thomas 66)

[14:8] And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
[14:9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
[14:10] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
[14:11] And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
(cf. Thomas 43)

[8:10] And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
[8:11] And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
[8:12] And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
(43) His disciples said to him, "Who are you, that you should say these things to us?"
<Jesus said to them,> "You do not realize who I am from what I say to you, but you have become like the Jews, for they (either) love the tree and hate its fruit (or) love the fruit and hate the tree."

You have become
like the Jews
(60) <They saw> a Samaritan carrying a lamb on his way to Judea. He said to his disciples, "That man is round about the lamb."
They said to him, "So that he may kill it and eat it."
He said to them, "While it is alive, he will not eat it, but only when he has killed it and it has become a corpse."

While it is alive,
he will not eat it
(cf. Thomas 67)

[14:12] Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
[14:13] And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
[14:14] And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
[14:15] And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
[14:16] And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
[14:17] And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
[14:18] And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
(cf. Thomas 42)

[8:8] And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
[8:9] And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
(42) Jesus said, "Become passers-by."
(Passing away, come into being.)

Passing away
(60b) They said to him, "He cannot do so otherwise."
He said to them, "You too, look for a place for yourself within repose, lest you become a corpse and be eaten."

Become a corpse
(cf. Thomas 68)

[14:19] And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
[14:20] And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
(cf. Thomas 41)

[8:4] And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
[8:5] And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
[8:6] And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
[8:7] The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
(41) Jesus said, "Whoever has something in his hand will receive more, and whoever has nothing will be deprived of even the little he has."

Whoever has something in his hand  will receive more

Whoever has nothing will be deprived of even the little he has
 (61) Jesus said, "Two will rest on a bed: the one will die, and the other will live."
Salome said, "Who are you, man, that you ... have come up on my couch and eaten from my table?"
Jesus said to her, "I am he who exists from the undivided. I was given some of the things of my father."
<...> "I am your disciple."
<...> "Therefore I say, if he is destroyed, he will be filled with light, but if he is divided, he will be filled with darkness."

I was given some of the things of my father

But if he is divided,
he will be filled with darkness
(cf. Thomas 69)

[15:1] And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
[15:2] And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast,
(cf. Thomas 40)

upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

(40) Jesus said, "A grapevine has been planted outside of the father, but being unsound, it will be pulled up by its roots and destroyed."

Planted
(62) Jesus said, "It is to those who are worthy of my mysteries that I tell my mysteries. Do not let your left (hand) know what your right (hand) is doing."

(63) Jesus said, "There was a rich man who had much money. He said, 'I shall put my money to use so that I may sow, reap, plant, and fill my storehouse with produce, with the result that I shall lack nothing.' Such were his intentions, but that same night he died. Let him who has ears hear."

Plant
(cf. Thomas 70)

and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
[15:3] And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
[15:4] Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
[15:5] And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
[15:6] And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

(cf. Thomas 39)

[8:3] And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints
(39) Jesus said, "The pharisees and the scribes have taken the keys of knowledge (gnosis) and hidden them. They themselves have not entered, nor have they allowed to enter those who wish to. You, however, be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves."

Allowed to enter
(64) Jesus said, "A man had received visitors. And when he had prepared the dinner, he sent his servant to invite the guests.
He went to the first one and said to him, 'My master invites you.' He said, 'I have claims against some merchants. They are coming to me this evening. I must go and give them my orders. I ask to be excused from the dinner.'
He went to another and said to him, 'My master has invited you.' He said to him, 'I have just bought a house and am required for the day. I shall not have any spare time.'
He went to another and said to him, 'My master invites you.' He said to him, 'My friend is going to get married, and I am to prepare the banquet. I shall not be able to come. I ask to be excused from the dinner.'
He went to another and said to him, 'My master invites you.' He said to him, 'I have just bought a farm, and I am on my way to collect the rent. I shall not be able to come. I ask to be excused.'
The servant returned and said to his master, 'Those whom you invited to the dinner have asked to be excused.' The master said to his servant, 'Go outside to the streets and bring back those whom you happen to meet, so that they may dine.' Businessmen and merchants will not enter the places of my father."

He sent his servant so that the tenants might give him the produce of the vineyard. They seized his servant and beat him, all but killing him. The servant went back and told his master. The master said, 'Perhaps he did not recognize them.' He sent another servant. The tenants beat this one as well. Then the owner sent his son and said, 'Perhaps they will show respect to my son.' Because the tenants knew that it was he who was the heir to the vineyard, they seized him and killed him. Let him who has ears hear."

[7:15] Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

[17:5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
[17:6] And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

[4:6] And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
[4:7] And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
[4:8] And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
[4:9] And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
[4:10] The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
This is a cross over point for both the Outer Chiasm and the Inner Chiasm. The left and the right of the two structures are one and the same from the Bridal chamber, verses (9/104) until these verses (22/89). This is symbolized by the green box, and will become visible in the next step after the Realized Eschatology chiasm: The Joint Body Chiasm. The Joint Body Chiasm joins  the inner male chiasm to the outer female chiasm.

(22) Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to his disciples, "These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom."
They said to him, "Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?"

(22b) Jesus said to them, "When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom

Inside / Outside

Will you enter the kingdom
(89) Jesus said, "Why do you wash the outside of the cup? Do you not realize that he who made the inside is the same one who made the outside?"

(A Yoke is put around the shoulders of an animal.  This appears to be the core or shoulder of the bodily structure of the Spirit Body. The Greek of yoke is zygos - From the root of zeugnumi: to join, especially by a "yoke") This is perfect joining of male and female in the bridal chamber. This will be discussed in the next step: the Joint Body Chiasm.

(90) Jesus said, "Come unto me, for my yoke is easy and my lordship is mild, and you will find repose for yourselves."

You will find repose

and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
[18:22] And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
[18:23] And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee;

[3:15] I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
[3:16] So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
[3:17] Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
[3:18] I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
[3:19] As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
[3:20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
[3:21] To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
[3:22] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
(21) Mary said to Jesus, "Whom are your disciples like?"
He said, "They are like children who have settled in a field which is not theirs. of the field When the owners of the field come, they will say, 'Let us have back our field.' They (will) undress in their presence in order to let them have back their field and to give it back to them. Therefore I say, if the owner of a house knows that the thief is coming, he will begin his vigil before he comes and will not let him dig through into his house of his domain to carry away his goods. You, then, be on your guard against the world. Arm yourselves with great strength lest the robbers find a way to come to you, for the difficulty which you expect will (surely) materialize. Let there be among you a man of understanding. When the grain ripened, he came quickly with his sickle in his hand and reaped it. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear."

(90) Jesus said, "Come unto me, for my yoke is easy and my lordship is mild, and you will find repose for yourselves."

(91) They said to him, "Tell us who you are so that we may believe in you."
He said to them, "You read the face of the sky and of the earth, but you have not recognized the one who is before you, and you do not know how to read this moment."

and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
[18:24] And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
[19:1] And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
[19:2] For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
[19:3] And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
[19:4] And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

[19:5] And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
[19:6] And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
[19:7] Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
(cf. Thomas 20)

which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
[3:13] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
[3:14] And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness,
(20) The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us what the kingdom of heaven is like."
He said to them, "It is like a mustard seed. It is the smallest of all seeds. But when it falls on tilled soil, it produces a great plant and becomes a shelter for birds of the sky."

Tell us what the kingdom of heaven is like

    (92) Jesus said, "Seek and you will find. Yet, what you asked me about in former times and which I did not tell you then, now I do desire to tell, but you do not inquire after it."

What you asked me about in former times
(cf. Thomas 92)

[19:8] And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
[19:9] And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
[19:10] And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:

which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
[3:11] Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
[3:12] Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem,
(19) Jesus said, "Blessed is he who came into being before he came into being. If you become my disciples and listen to my words, these stones will minister to you. For there are five trees for you in Paradise which remain undisturbed summer and winter and whose leaves do not fall. Whoever becomes acquainted with them will not experience death."

These stones will minister to you
(93) <Jesus said,> "Do not give what is holy to dogs, lest they throw them on the dung-heap. Do not throw the pearls to swine, lest they [...] it [...]."

Pearls to swine
(cf. Thomas 93)

I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
(cf. Thomas 18)

[3:4] Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
[3:5] He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
[3:6] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
[3:7] And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
[3:8] I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
[3:9] Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
[3:10] Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,

The key of David    (The key to the kingdom)

(18) The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us how our end will be."
Jesus said, "Have you discovered, then, the beginning, that you look for the end? For where the beginning is, there will the end be. Blessed is he who will take his place in the beginning; he will know the end and will not experience death."

Have you discovered

He who will take his place
(94) Jesus said, "He who seeks will find, and he who knocks will be let in."

Seeks will find

He who knocks will be let in
(cf. Thomas 94)

[19:11] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

(cf. Thomas 17) (cf. 1 Cor. 2:9)

[2:28] And I will give him the morning star.
[2:29] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
[3:1] And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
[3:2] Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
[3:3] Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
(17) Jesus said, "I shall give you what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has never occurred to the human mind."

Give you

    (95) Jesus said, "If you have money, do not lend it at interest, but give it to one from whom you will not get it back."

Give it
(cf. Thomas 95)

[19:12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
[19:13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
[19:14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
[19:15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
(cf. Thomas 16)

[2:21] And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
[2:22] Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
[2:23] And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts:
and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
[2:24] But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
[2:25] But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
[2:26] And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
[2:27] And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
(16) Jesus said, "Men think, perhaps, that it is peace which I have come to cast upon the world. They do not know that it is dissension which I have come to cast upon the earth: fire, sword, and war. For there will be five in a house: three will be against two, and two against three, the father against the son, and the son against the father. And they will stand solitary."

Fire upon earth
(96) Jesus said, "The kingdom of the father is like a certain woman. She took a little leaven, concealed it in somedough, and made it into large loaves. Let him who has ears hear."

(Cooked) dough... loaves
(cf. Thomas 96)

[19:16] And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
[19:17] And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
(cf. Thomas 15)

[2:18] And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
[2:19] I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
[2:20] Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

(15) Jesus said, "When you see one who was not born of woman, prostrate yourselves on your faces and worship him. That one is your father."

Not born of woman
(97) Jesus said, "The kingdom of the father is like a certain woman who was carrying a jar full of meal. While she was walking on the road, still some distance from home, the handle of the jar broke and the meal emptied out behind her on the road. She did not realize it; she had noticed no accident. When she reached her house, she set the jar down and found it empty."

Like a certain woman
(cf. Thomas 97)

[19:18] That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
(cf. Thomas 14)

[2:14] But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
[2:15] So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
[2:16] Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
[2:17] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

(14) Jesus said to them, "If you fast, you will give rise to sin for yourselves; and if you pray, you will be condemned; and if you give alms, you will do harm to your spirits. When you go into any land and walk about in the districts, if they receive you, eat what they will set before you, and heal the sick among them. For what goes into your mouth will not defile you, but that which issues from your mouth - it is that which will defile you."

Do harm to your spirits

    (98) Jesus said, "The kingdom of the father is like a certain man who wanted to kill a powerful man. In his own house he drew his sword and stuck it into the wall in order to find out whether his hand could carry through. Then he slew thepowerful man."

"Powerful man" is repeated

Kill a powerful man

(cf. Thomas 98)

[19:19] And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
[19:20] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
[19:21] And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

(cf. Thomas 13B)

of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
[2:10] Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
[2:11] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
[2:12] And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
[2:13] I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

(13b) Jesus said, "I am not your master. Because you have drunk, you have become intoxicated from the bubbling spring which I have measured out."
And he took him and withdrew and told him three things. When Thomas returned to his companions, they asked him, "What did Jesus say to you?"
Thomas said to them, "If I tell you one of the things which he told me, you will pick up stones and throw them at me; a fire will come out of the stones and burn you up."

His companions

A fire will come out of the stones and burn you up

    (99) The disciples said to him, "Your brothers and your mother are standing outside."
He said to them, "Those here who do the will of my father are my brothers and my mother. It is they who will enter the kingdom of my father."

Your brothers

It is they who will enter the kingdom of my father

(cf. Thomas 99)

[20:1] And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
[20:2] And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
[20:3] And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
[20:4] And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,

(cf. Thomas 13)

[2:7] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
[2:8] And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
[2:9] I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy

(13) Jesus said to his disciples, "Compare me to someone and tell me whom I am like."
Simon Peter said to him, "You are like a righteous angel."
Matthew said to him, "You are like a wise philosopher."
Thomas said to him, "Master, my mouth is wholly incapable of saying whom you are like."

Compare me to someone.., whom I am like

    (100) They showed Jesus a gold coin and said to him, "Caesar's men demand taxes from us."
He said to them, "Give Caesar what belongs to Caesar, give God what belongs to God, and give me what is mine."

and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
[20:5] But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
[20:6] Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

(cf. Thomas 12)

[2:1] Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
[2:2] I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
[2:3] And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
[2:4] Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
[2:5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
[2:6] But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

(12) The disciples said to Jesus, "We know that you will depart from us. Who is to be our leader?"
Jesus said to them, "Wherever you are, you are to go toJames the righteous, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being."

Who is to be our leader

James the righteous
(spiritual brother - i.e. the brother of Christ)

(101) <Jesus said,> "Whoever does not hate his father and his mother as I do cannot become a disciple to me. And whoever does not love his father and his mother as I do cannot become a disciple to me. For my mother [...], but my true mother gave me life."

Mother and Father is repeated

Hate his father and his mother

Love his father and his mother

(cf. Thomas 101)

[20:7] And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
[20:8] And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
[20:9] And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven,

(cf. Thomas 11)

I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
[1:18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
[1:19] Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
[1:20] The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

(11) Jesus said, "This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass away. The dead are not alive, and the living will not die. In the days when you consumed what is dead, you made it what is alive. When you come to dwell in the light, what will you do? On the day when you were one you became two. But when you become two, what will you do?"

Consumed

    (102) Jesus said, "Woe to the pharisees, for they are like a dog sleeping in the manger of oxen, for neither does he eatnor does he let the oxen eat."

Eat is repeated

(103) Jesus said, "Fortunate is the man who knows where the brigands will enter, so that he may get up, muster his domain, and arm himself before they invade."

Arm himself before

(cf. Thomas 103)

[20:11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
[20:12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[20:13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[20:14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[20:15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

(cf. Thomas 104)

[1:16] And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword:

(9) Jesus said, "Now the sower went out, took a handful (of seeds), and scattered them. Some fell on the road; the birds came and gathered them up. Others fell on the rock, did not take root in the soil, and did not produce ears. And others fell on thorns; they choked the seed(s) and worms ate them. And others fell on the good soil and it produced good fruit: it bore sixty per measure and a hundred and twenty per measure."

Sower scatters seeds

(104) They said to Jesus, "Come, let us pray today and let us fast."
Jesus said, "What is the sin that I have committed, or wherein have I been defeated? But when the bridegroomleaves the bridal chamber, then let them fast and pray."

Bridal chamber (104) connects with “mother and father” (105)

(105) Jesus said, "He who knows the father and the mother will be called the son of a harlot."

(cf. Thomas 8)

and his voice as the sound of many waters.

(8) And he said, "The man is like a wise fisherman who cast his net into the sea and drew it up from the sea full of small fish. Among them the wise fisherman found a fine large fish. He threw all the small fish back into the sea and chose the large fish without difficulty. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear."

Chose the large fish

Bridal chamber (104) connects with “mother and father” (105).

This is the private area of the bodily structure upon which we besow much honor.

(105) Jesus said, "He who knows the father and the mother will be called the son of a harlot."

Called the son

(cf. Thomas 105)

[21:3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
[21:4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

(cf. Thomas 7)

[1:15] And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;

(7) Jesus said, "Blessed is the lion which becomes manwhen consumed by man; and cursed is the man whom the lion consumes, and the lion becomes man."

Blessed is the lion which becomes man

    (106) Jesus said, "When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, 'Mountain, move away,' it will move away."

You will become the sons of man

(cf. Thomas 106)

[21:5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
[21:6] And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
[21:7] He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

(cf. Thomas 6)

[1:11] Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
[1:12] And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
[1:13] And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

(6) His disciples questioned him and said to him, "Do you want us to fast? How shall we pray? Shall we give alms? What diet shall we observe?"
Jesus said, "Do not tell lies, and do not do what you hate, for all things are plain in the sight of heaven. For nothing hidden will not become manifest, and nothing covered will remain without being uncovered."

What diet shall we observe?

Nothing hidden will not become manifest

(107) Jesus said, "The kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. One of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninety-nine sheep and looked for that one until he found it. When he had gone to such trouble, he said to the sheep, 'I care for you more than the ninety-nine.'"

(108) Jesus said, "He who will drink from my mouth will become like me. I myself shall become he, and the things that are hidden will be revealed to him."

He who will drink from my mouth

Looked for that one until he found it

(cf. Thomas 107)

[21:8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

(cf. Thomas 5)

[1:9] I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
[1:10] I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

(5) Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest."

Recognize what is in your sight

Become plain to you

Hidden

(109) Jesus said, "The kingdom is like a man who had ahidden treasure in his field without knowing it. And after he died, he left it to his son. The son did not know (about the treasure). He inherited the field and sold it. And the one who bought it went plowing and found the treasure. He began to lend money at interest to whomever he wished."

Treasure (109) connects with rich (110)

(110) Jesus said, "Whoever finds the world and becomes rich, let him renounce the world."

The kingdom

Found the treasure

Hidden treasure

(cf. Thomas 108)

[21:9] And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

(cf. Thomas 4)

[1:8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

(4) Jesus said, "The man old in days will not hesitate to ask a small child seven days old about the place of life, and he will live. For many who are first will become last, and they will become one and the same."

The man old in days… will live

(111) Jesus said, "The heavens and the earth will be rolled up in your presence. And the one who lives from the living one will not see death." Does not Jesus say, "Whoever finds himself is superior to the world?"

The one who lives from the living one will not see death

(cf. Thomas 109)

[21:10] And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
[21:11] Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
[21:12] And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
[21:13] On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
[21:14] And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
[21:15] And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
[21:16] And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
[21:17] And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
[21:18] And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
[21:19] And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
[21:20] The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
[21:21] And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

(cf. Thomas 3)

[1:5] And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
[1:6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
[1:7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

(3) Jesus said, "If those who lead you say to you, 'See, the kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you.

Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."

(112) Jesus said, "Woe to the flesh that depends on the soul; woe to the soul that depends on the flesh."

(113) His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
<Jesus said,> "It will not come by waiting for it. It will not be a matter of saying 'here it is' or 'there it is.' Rather, the kingdom of the father is spread out upon the earth, and men do not see it."

(cf. Thomas 110,111)

[21:22] And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
[21:23] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
[21:24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

[21:25] And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
[21:26] And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
[21:27] And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

(cf. Thomas 2)

[1:4] John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

(cf. Thomas 112)

[22:1] And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
[22:2] In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
[22:3] And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
[22:4] And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

(cf. Thomas 1)

and of all things that he saw.
[1:3] Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

(cf. Thomas 113)

[22:5] And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
[22:6] And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
[22:7] Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
[22:8] And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
[22:9] Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
[22:10] And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
[22:11] He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
[22:12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

[1:1] The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
[1:2] Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ,

(cf. Thomas 114)

[22:13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
[22:14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
[22:15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
[22:16] I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
[22:17] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
[22:18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
[22:19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
[22:20] He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

This color coded table is a simplified chart of the Chiasm above it.
The color coding also reveals significant moments in the timeline.
It follows the color coding of The Gospel of Christ Joint Chiasm.
If the logic of the Charts above are not self-evident,
then the following may help.

The interpretational tool provided above is created using a step by step process. It may be worthwhile to familiarize oneself with this step by step process. The Key of Knowledge provides the foundational logic behind this tool. It reveals the need for differing communities and their messages to be joined together into One in holy marriage in Christ Jesus. A Joint Body Chiasm or a New Man is created by joining the Cross Chiasm with the Kingdom Chiasm. The Cross Chiasm is the gospel to the Circumcision. The Kingdom Chiasm is the Gospel to the Uncircumcision. Like a husband and wife, becoming one flesh, these communities and their messages must be united if either wants to be complete. Once these structures are recognized the logic of meditating on corresponding passages within specific writings will become more apparent. For a more complete explanation of this process see The Gospel of Christ.
The Book of Revelation

Understanding the Revelation of Jesus Christ
The New Joint Body is like unto the Son of Man,
(Revelation 1:12- 18).

To understand the logic of this page, it may help to envision an individual scroll of scripture as a "body" of text. In a chiastic structure, the top of the scroll is joined to the bottom of the scroll creating two sides to the "body" of text. Like the two sides of the sketetal structure of a human body, the chiastic structure that is created is pictured by two columns of text. Then in the same way as muscles and tissues, and joints and bands provide shape, formcohesion and usefulness to a human body, so also the similarities in thought, word, and rhetoric within the two sides of the body of text provide the links that join the right side of the text to the left. Figuratively and pictorially the text becomes a “body” held together and given usefulness by joints and bands.

Picture the "Revelation of Jesus Christ" as an unravelled scoll of text, folded in the middle, so that the beginning of the scroll touches the end of the scroll. The beginning and the end of the scroll become joined together becoming one and the same, joined as it were, by a similar thought or word. In the same way, the second verse and the second last verse of the text also align themselves, and so on, even up to the fold in the middle of the text. Even as the human body is folded along it's spine, so also a scriptural text is folded along it's most central message. In the book or scroll of "The Revelation of Jesus Christ," this fold in the center of the text occurs at the phrase, "Our Lord was Crucified," Revelation 11:8. This is the key to understanding the book of Revelation. As seen above a "New" Cross Chiasm is build around this central phrase.

Originally, as explained in The Gospel of Christ, a "Cross" Chiasm is joined with a "Kingdom" Chiasm to create a Joint Body Chiasm. In this study of The Book of Revelation this same pattern is followed. The difference being that the original  "Cross" Chiasm discussed in previous studies, is replaced by the "New" Cross chiastic structure of "The Book of Revelation." This chiastic structure based on "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" is then joined with the Kingdom Chiasm. From this amalgamation of the Kingdom Chiasm and the Book of revelation's "Cross" Chiasm is created "The New Joint body."  This New Joint Body Skeletal Structural Chart using "The Book of Revelation" is seen above.
Becoming One New Man, pictorially, it is a New Joint Body like unto the Son of Man, (Revelation 1:12- 18)

Originally, as explained in the article The Gospel of Christ,  the "Cross" Chiasm is joined and completes the "Kingdom" Chiasm and visa versa. The "Cross" Chiasm is female (i.e. the Gospel to the circumcision), and the "Kingdom" Chiasm is male (i.e. the Gospel to the "Un"-circumcision). Just as a male and a female are joined in holy marriage and become one flesh, and both are completed by the other, so also they becoming a new creation.

The reason the Chiastic structure of "Revelation" replaces the "Cross" Chiasm in this process is because both of these are the "Female"chiasms designed as a messages to the Circumcision. Both are in need of and are completed by the male "Kingdom" Chiasm designed as the Gospel to the "Un"-circumcision. Again, this Outer Female Cross Chiastic Structure of the original Joint Body which was designed as a message to the Circumcision is now replaced with the corresponding verses from "The Book of Revelation."  (These correspondences can be examined by viewing The Revelation of Jesus Christ Key Word Connections.) After this replacement, the New Cross chiasm is then joined with the kingdom chiasm. This new joining creates a "New" Joint Body. In summary, the Inner Male Kingdom Chiastic Structure of the original Joint Body is used to complete the New larger Joint body structure built from the verses from "The Book of Revelation."

A New Double Chiastic Structure is created by joining both Chiasms into One New Body.

And as in holy marriage, the male and female complete each other.

Each passage is completed by its corresponding saying on the opposite side of the body.

Like the two sides of a  human body, the left is completed by the right.

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.

The One New Body "Like Unto The Son Of Man,"
(Revelation 1:12- 18)

P.S. It is often suggested that the Revelation is a timeline.
Just as human history is sometimes divided into the time before Christ
and time after Christ, so also the Book of Revelation could be divided
into two timelines before, and after the death of Christ.
This death of Christ is mentioned at Revelation 11:8, dividing the book at this point.
The idea of a chiasm is to join the two sides or timelimes into one.

From another perspective, there is the natural. There is the spiritual.
The right is the male and the left is the female.
It is the completed Spiritual that governs the divided natural world.
Like a zipper slowly closing, joining the left to the right,
saying by saying, earth is about to be changed by the original undivided perspective.
