Repetitive Although this second level has a lot of experience to offer to the player, it is quite boring, repetitive, and in the end, you can't wait until the area's finished. But the boss is by far, the hardest in the game, apart from the last one. Take heart when it comes to fighting this boss, the weaker players are sure to die in one wift attack from the giant worm.
The first caves level is hot, and lava filled. Here you will discover some of the deformed creatures that are descendants of them from the surface. Here they have acclaimed new skills and fighting techniques, yet you will still get the frontal attacks from the Sharks, as you will throughout the entire game. Just don't get surrounded by them. The level is full of sliding doors, and it is a maze full of mines that explode about 10 seconds after you see them. There is time to run.
The second caves level is watery, cool, blue and refreshing. The mines are here still, yet they will explode on impact. Some are of different types, and weaker people may die in just one mine explosion. The Nano Dragon makes a start appearance in this level and the next. This stage is the most beautiful of the caves stages; There is an underground waterfall and a palace of ice and water.
The final caves stage is the largest, and the most rusted, metal place you will find on the game (Mines 2 is an exception). The Nano Dragon comes back yet again, and Pan Arms seems to feature more in this area. The boss lies at the end of all these crushers and sliding doors, and is definately a challenge. Egotistical characters shouldn't be surprised if they die in the first shot, thinking they can win. There is a certain pattern to the giant worms moves. |
