Madonna was born Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone on August 16, 1958 in Bay City, Michigan, and was named after her mother, (Madonna Ciccone) who died of breast cancer when she was only 6. Her father (Sylvio Ciccone) is a design engineer for Chrysler/General Motors. She has a step-mother (Joan) and has 3 brothers: older brother (Martin), her brother (Anthony), and younger brother (Christopher) who she is very close with. She also has 2 sisters (Paula Mae and Melanie), plus 1 half-sister (Jennifer) and 1 half-brother (Mario). Madonna is married 2 director Guy Ritchie, and has 2 children; daughter (Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon a.k.a. "Lola") and son (Rocco Ritchie, born 5 days b4 Madonna's 42nd birthday)...BIG family!
