"Heald's Faculty Team Grows"

     Marion Layton joined the Heald faculty full-time to teach medical courses during the day. Layton received her nursing education from Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing and now holds a BSN from Florida International University and an M.Ed. MHC from Cambridge College. Layton has experience teaching in the medical field and looks forward to teaching here at Heald College. She recently moved back to Hawaii with her husband, Warren, leaving two adult children, Eric and Joe in Massachusetts.

     Leilani Soliven has joined the Team to teach Introduction to Information Technology and Software Applications this quarter. Soliven graduated from Pearl City High School and went on to pursue a degree in Accounting and Psychology at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She returned to Hawaii and enrolled at Heald College to pursue a degree in Computer Tehnology and is a recipient of the Heald College Trustee Scholarship. She is currently pursuing an M.S. degree in Information Systems at Hawaii Pacific University. Soliven truly believes that education is the key to success and looks forward to helping students pave their paths of success so they may achieve their goals as she did.
