Edition was chosen the #1 DVD of All-Time. But how close
was it?
Not
close at all. If everyone who voted had selected Lord
of the Rings as their top choice, it would
have received 2,500 points. It wound up with 1,698
points, more than total number of points of the 2nd (Fight
Club) and 3rd (The
Ultimate Toy Box) ranked titles combined.
To put it another way, The Fellowship of the
Ring's point total was greater than the sum
of points for all the titles comprising the bottom half of the
list. It was far and away the winner.
