For those who have never gone on this trip - here is the deal. We get a pontoon boat - throw a couple coolers (filled with beer/soda) on it and cruise the bay as we try to find this beachside bar called Seacrets. We also make plenty of stops to take a dip (assuming its not to rough) They have great food, drinks and music - its kind of like tailgating for Buffett in the water. Top 5 things you need for the trip.5. Sunscreen 4. Bathing suit with closeable pockets - girls talk to your guys - it would suck to be in Dewey without your drivers license 3. Towel 2. Dramamine for those of you who can’t drink and boat 1. Did I mention SUNSCREEN I called about a boat rental today and they have a 9-person boat available for Thurs. The cost is $140 from 1-5 plus gas. We can go longer if we want and the hourly rate drops by half so I believe $25-30 a head would do it if we have 9 people If we have more than 9 then we’ll have to look at getting a second boat.
