PlayStation 2

Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty
By: SDStarCast

When I got MGS2, it was around 7:00 in the evening at an Electronics Boutique, and the shipment just came in.  I was fourth in line to get the game, and as soon as I got home I popped it in my PS2.  The whole interface of the game has changed,  you can know decide how you change your equipment, guns, etc...  You start the game as Solid Snake, on the tanker ship (like the demo)

Things have changed a little bit.  You now can only get the USP after you kill Olga.  Also the room down the stairs in the room with the big TV, bar, and big stairs (the door on the right) is now a engine room.

Once you finish the tanker mission, you play as Raiden.  The only real difference between him and Snake is that Raiden does a cartwheel when he is running and you press X.

You really start to appreciate the game when you see the FMV's, which are not rendered.  Everything is smooth and nice.  You'll never really notice anything rough in the game, graphic wise.  The music isn't the best but it certainly goes along with the settings. The voice acting is great!  Each voice goes along nicely with each character, except Raiden who sort of looks like a women.

Ok now first of give a round of applause to Hideo Kojima. He really out did himself here. Bringing visuals and creativity at its best on one game. This game is all about being stealthy and if your the kind of person who says "@#%$ it let raid tese azzholes!" well you won't get too far cause the hacks as I like to call it always call back up....you get around seven or eight guys just pumping you full of lead. Personally I like the element of surprise. So, my preference is to hold them up aim for their head and take their tags. These tags will earn you something special at the price your gonna pay. It will take time to beat this if your not playing very easy heheh. You can put your enemies asleep then drag them to a secluded area where no one is the wiser. Then you can use a coolant on their face to wake them and quickly switch to a weapon. You can lay a porno on the ground and watch them get into it (laughs). Then hold them up. You can do a number of things in this game. You can swim, save your partner's sister by guiding her. Sneak past Cyphers. You can drag your enemies to a locker and put him in there. But i choose to terminate him before I do that with a head shot while he is snoring. Bosses are no joke they will take time and wise choices to beat them. Take for example FatMan when you fight him you need to deactivate his bombs he sets around the area. After diffusing a certain amount of bombs you get the pleasure of chasing him around with your gun. But that is nothing compared to what is ahead. You can try and collect those tags I mentioned earlier or take pictures of posters and watch otacon's reaction when you show them those pictures instead of the Metal Gear pictures....hmmm wondering what I'm talking about then go buy it don't rent it is worth the buy.

Last comment: ummm if you haven't bought this my guess you don't have a PS2 my friend or just waiting till christmas others buy man!
