the group got together in high school when andrew tierney, then in year 10, rallied his friends toby allen and phil burton, and his little brother michael, to sing at an end-of-year school concert. the guys realised the chemistry they created singing together and decided to persue the group full-time.

after several record company knock-backs, the group was signed to sony music after singing for sony ceo dennis handlin.

what followed was a chart topping debut album, scores of hit sinlges, and a number of prestigious tour-supports including michael jackson, janet jackson, john farnham, celine dion, sclub7 ...to name a few.
