The Southern Peninsula Rescue service operate out of Sorrento, on the Mornington Peninsula.  They are a privately owned, operated and funded rescue service.  Their chopper is equipped for Search and Rescue as well as Air Ambulance tasks. They operate on 154.4250Mhz NFM.  This chopper also has Police, Ambulance and CFA radios onboard.  Along with the chopper, the Southern Peninsula Rescue service also have ocean going vessels for SAR's at sea.

HeliMed Air Ambulance

HeliMed operate out of the La Trobe valley in Victorias east.  They provide all the aerial Ambulance, SAR and some fire spotting duties for most of south eastern Victoria. If you listen in to the MAS you will often hear them come in on the East Channel as HeliMed 1.  HeliMed do not need to take any direction from the Police Air wing as they are run by the Ambulance Service. Also listen into the Alfred Helipad on 132.750 AM.

Victorian Coast Guard

The Victorian Coast Guard operate all throughout Port Phillip and Corio Bays.  They are often the front line for sea emergencies. You can hear them on the VHF marine channels as CG1, CG2... etc..
