The reason you see the channel numbering on
odd numbers is that on the Ambulance radios, they are
programmed with the odd channels for use on
the repeaters while the even numbered channels are all
simplex, or unit to unit. I havn't listed
the even channels as they are exactly the same as the odd ones.

The Ambulance Service run a total 7 aircraft to service Victoria's Air Ambulance needs.
Five fixed wing planes and two helicopters all based at Essendon Airport and the La Trobe Valley.
Over 1100 people are transported
via Air Ambulance each year.
