Trouble Removing Tire

The tire being removed should easily slide from its place, once the bolts have been loosened.

Troubleshoot 1: When removing a rear tire, the chain must be pulled back to give sufficient room forremoval.

Troubleshoot 2: Tires often get stuck on the brake pads. Determine whether the brake pads allow sufficient clearance for the tire removal. Loosen brakes if necessary.

Troubleshoot 3: Bikes that are not equiped with "quick realease" clamps, usually require simultaneous loosening on both ends of the rim. If your bike has this type of hardware, the tire cannot be removed until both ends are loosened.

Trouble Mounting Tire

Once you have placed your new inner tube inside your new tire, the new tire should be mounted on the inside lips of your bike tire's rim.

Troubleshoot: When mounting your new tire, first place one of the lips of the new tire inside the rim, then going clockwise, push the other lip of the tire inside the rim.
