WRIGHT Family
My connection to the WRIGHT family starts with Solomon WRIGHT b. abt. 1820 and his wife Nancy GARY b. abt. 1821 who are my Great Great Grandparents on my father's side (parental). Their son, George Washington WRIGHT b. 7 Oct 1841 Swarts, Greene, PA d. 31 Oct 1939 Washington, Washington, PA and his wife Sarah Jane ROUPE b. 17 Aug 1838 d. Greene County, PA d. 1 May 1920 Browns Run, Morris TWP, Greene County, PA are my parental Great Grandparents. Their daughter Lucy WRIGHT b. abt 1885 and her husband William BRYSON were my paternal Grandparents.
Family history says that when Lucy died, just after Leroy's birth, William just took off and no one has ever heard about him since. Leroy and his sister (possibly half sister) Lelia BRYSON were raised by other members of the family. The site listed below has the data on them.
