This year, basketball at Heights isn't very great. It's not even good. In fact, I'd venture as far as to say, it's abysmal. Especially for the girls. Despite the fact that they did make some improvement, by actually winning a few games, their play is not where it should be. For most sports fans, basketball is one of the most exciting sports to watch. Some might even say it's more exciting than hard-hitting football. However, girls' basketball at Heights is, yet entertaining, not very exciting. Rarely does Heights score 50 points. The most cheering from the near-empty bleachers comes when a little girl gets knocked over by a huge girl who is out for the sport simply "to make friends", perhaps when a cat-fight begins in the middle of the court, or when the team captains get so animated when they are sitting the bench that Coach Jar! vis has to backhand them. Then and only then is it apporopriate to raise an eyebrow at any antics that take place at a Heights girls' basketball game.
