Beer Review: Starr Hill Amber Ale

Medium in both color and body, this ale greeted me with a smooth flavor tinged with slight hops notes. This brew was advertised as having 'rich maltiness' and being 'moderately hopped'. It was thicker / richer in body than my prior sample -- Old Dominion's Georgetown Pale Ale. I found the Starr Hill Amber Ale to indeed be malty, with what was almost a slight sweetness to it. Overall, a decent beer. -- Brewmeister G
