Beer Review: Samuel Adams Cranberry Lambic

The bottle proclaimed this brew to be a "wheat beer brewed with cranberry juice and other natural flavors." The lambic style is characterized by the fact that it spontaneously ferments. The holiday package of Sam Adams brews that this beer was obtained in stated that the Cranberry Lambic was only available in this 12-bottle variety pack. I had not tried this beer for years -- I remember being able to buy it in a 6-pack -- and I gazed upon its medium color and partook of its medium-to-light body while lost in my recollections from long ago. A definite hint of the namesake sourish fruit is present on the taste, although it by no means should be a put-off. Crisp, but always with the 'fruit' taste, this remains a good, solid beer.
