Beer Review: Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome Ale
Both the color and body of this brew were medium in nature. Unlike some winter beers, this offering did not have many (if any) spice notes hidden in its solid, if uninteresting, flavor. Not hoppy and possessing no 'bite', this ale did at least have the traditional winter brew's 'kick' (6%). A decent brew.
