Beer Review: Santa Barbara Blonde

Having a little time before my flight, I wandered upstairs at the Santa Barbara Airport, luckily stumbling across the Silverwings Restaurant and Bar. Not having been able to find any of the Santa Barbara Brewing Company's wares in the Lompoc area, I was determined not to let this opportunity pass me up. I sidled up to the bar and ordered a glass of the only SBBC item they had, their Blonde. Light in both color and body, this beer was very smooth, with a slight crispness to it (which was practically hidden by the smoothness of the flavor). No bite, hops, or fruit were detected. A pleasant 'morning beer' and a nice end to my West Coast sampling trip. A very nice brew. -- Brewmeister G
