Beer Review: Redhook Winterhook

A medium-to-dark color and a medium-to-heavy body marked this brew as the winter seasonal it is. This was a thicker, more serious beer than the other Redhook offerings I had sampled to date. The taste was not very spicy or hoppy, and it almosted hinted at a sort of 'woodiness' in the flavor. To my disappointment, this was not a very interesting beer. All-in-all, I'd say this brew was only so-so.
