Beer Review: Redhook Nut Brown Ale
This little bistro -- recommended to me by the proprietor at the local Gettysbrew microbrewery -- offered a good, diverse selection of beers on tap. I began the night with this Nut Brown Ale, which was dark in color and had a medium body. Possessing a nice, round flavor, with a slight sweetness / fruitiness on the end, this was a smooth brew. This beer left a fairly decent 'Belgian Lace' around the edges of my glass as it was finished. A very good ale -- tasty and smooth! -- Brewmeister G

Brew re-review number two of the day! Medium-to-dark in color, and with a medium body, there was a slight 'nut' flavor to this beer. Smooth, yet rich, there also was a slight something (nuts?) to the aroma. A good beer, albeit probably better on tap -- if you can find it so offered. -- Brewmeister G
