Beer Review: North Coast Old Rasputin

Dark in color, with a heavy body, this Russian Imperial stout from North Coast had a rich aroma. Creamy, and boasting both roasted and dark chocolate notes, this strong (8.9%) brew held no coffee notes. As I sampled this beer, I felt something was just a little bit 'off', although it was nothing I could definitively put my finger on. Still, a good stout. -- Brewmeister G
