Beer Review: Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald Porter

Named after the ship which sank in 1975 while carrying iron ore (immortalized in the Gordon Lightfoot song, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald), this brew was nothing but smooth sailing as far as I'm concerned! Quite possibly my fave of the four Great Lakes brews I tried that evening, this porter had a dark color and a medium body. Smooth, with a nice, malty taste to it, this beer sported a brownish head after being poured. Definitely a good porter! -- Brewmeister G
