Beer Review: Fest (Weeping Radish)

The fifth fest-type beer I had at the Cap City Oktoberfest was the number three beer of the fest's competition! A bronze-medal went to this darker-colored Weeping Radish brew. A medium body concealed slight hoppy notes, no bite, and no sweetness. This was a good-tasting, very solid beer. I can see why it was a winner today -- a very good beer! -- Brewmeister G

Medium in both color and body, I could detect no hops or fruit notes on the aroma. Smooth in flavor, with a hint of sweetness at the end, this was a very nice start to what would, alas, prove to be a disappointing meal. This would work well, though, as a stand-alone beer. Nice. -- Brewmeister G
