Beer Review: Aviator Amber Lager
Originally made only for a restaurant in Annapolis, Maryland, this offering is now slightly more widely distributed. Stronger than some other lagers (at 5.5%), this beer also possessed a tad more body than many other lagers I have tried. The lighter color and body held a smooth, rich flavor and there was, as advertised, a slight hop aroma present with this brew. This lager had no 'bite' and was not very complex, taste-wise. A good, lighter beer that went well with the John Coltrane that was playing in the background for this review. -- Brewmeister G
