The Tools
of Self-Validation
"For as he thinketh
in his heart, so is he
" Proverbs 23:7
The thoughts of a person
are powerful. We create with our thoughts. We create joy, sadness,
pain, and delight... nearly any emotion. Any level of reality
we can conceive began as a thought. It is when we learn to control
our own thoughts, that we effect our reality. It has been said
that nearly every event in our lives becomes a matter of perception.
The fact from two eyewitness accounts may be the same, but ones
interpretations of those facts are coloured by perception.
It is our perception
of reality that enables us to function in this world. We are
constantly bombarded with events that serve to change our perception
of reality. It is when we are grounded that we do not allow these
influences to change our reality.
For this present reality
is but an illusion. It is an after-image of things happening
outside of our immediate line of sight. If the mind were not
the center of the being, the wellspring of the soul, then, why
else would there be such verses about our mind, and the mind
of Christ?

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds: ) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" II Corinthians 10:3-5
