Sphere of Influence
The two forces that
drive all creatures equally are love and fear. These remain opposing
patterns etched on the surface of the same sphere. Roll the surface
between the palms of your hand, feel the intricate embrace of
the etching, and know that the same power drives them both.
A heart of love finds no residence for fear. Equally so, a heart
filled with fear lends no purchase for love. Oft times the human
heart becomes riddled with a blending of each. Love borne through
fear becomes selfish, Ego driven emotion. Then you have the folk
who thrive on fear, its deliverance, its reception.
The heart of balance learns how to keep each in its place. Ego
becomes a doubled-edged sword, it opposes and defends. Perchance,
fear and love are merely dynamic interpretations of Ego and Magick:
whose delicate blending becomes the essence of all mystical work.
Exit Ego, enter Magick, may be a slightly inaccurate assessment.
Possibly, balanced Ego equals balanced Magick, blends more homogeneous.
As we embrace the Ego condition, recognizing Magickal potential,
we no longer live in fear of the unknown. Love becomes the knowledge
of understanding. When we understand, we learn with greater care.
Thus, Magick is only as difficult as you make it. Such as any lesson becomes. Integrate the fear into balanced union with love and you no longer have disassociated emotions, rather holistic being which remains the Soul of us all. To be fully balanced life-force compelled into form. When you think about it, this reveals precisely who Christ became. In essence, all roads lead to the Christ, at least the spiritual concept of the Divine walking upon the waters of humanity. Funny thing is, anyone can walk on the water, if only they'll overcome their fear and try.
