PREFACE

I have endeavored in this psychotic story to raise the psycho in all of those reading it. My love for a certain blue haired guy promoted it, so here it is. May anyone in a similar situation to me, or to Krystal, feel comforted in the fact that they are not alone. A special thanks to Emiri, of the Kojirotorium, who gave me the idea for this story. it was a really great way for me to tell James I love him. Without her encouraging email, I may have given up all hope on James. THANKYOU! May James live forever in the hearts of those who love him. me included.

CAST OF CHARACTERS

(this has been updated, since I read the intriguing perspective given by Cori of Cori’s Ultimate Rocketshipper Page. Cori, you were able to put what I was thinking into words, so I sort of borrowed a few bits and pieces, I’m so sorry!)

James, partner to Jessie, an arrogant yet sweet and sensitive 17 year old guy.(also wonderful, magnificent, awesome, radical, sensual…) The object of Jaycee’s affections and life. He has a happy go lucky sort of quality to his personality, unlike his team mate, Jessie. When put in a tight spot, he will protect himself and his team mates, but prefers to do this in a defensive rather than offensive manner. *(sigh)* He has a naive, humorous perspective on things, and he keeps Jessie and Meowth in touch with their friendy sides which both of them tend to hide. He also cheers everybody up when they're feeling sad.

Jessie, partner to James, an arrogant and obnoxious 17 year old girl, with a temper to match her red hair. She had to become hard and uncaring in order to survive, because of her harsh childhood of poverty. But her friendship with her team members shows a much more sensitive and needy side of her. She looks after James and Meowth, but deep down, she needs them as much as they need her. Jessie seeks to prove her worthiness to the world and to herself.

Meowth, mascot of sorts to Team Rocket (Jessie and James) with a nice nature hidden by his greediness and fickleness. He is sarcastic and critical of his team mates, but deep down he sees them as his friends, and the only true friends he’s ever had!

Jaycee, a 15 year old girl from another dimension, seeking the love of James. her true nature is hard for others to see. James learns that she has the complimentary nature to his own. (Aw)

Ash, an 11 year old boy and friend to Misty and Brock, with farfetched dreams of becoming a Pokémon master. Naïve in nature, but a sickeningly loyal companion. Secret love of Misty.

Misty a 12 year old girl and friend to Ash and Brock. A water Pokémon trainer with a big mouth. While sometimes she’s sensitive, other times she’s oblivious to other’s feelings. Secret love of Ash (well duh).

Brock a fifteen year old boy and friend to Ash and Misty. Dreams of becoming a great Pokémon breeder. Desperate to be the object of someone’s love.

Krystal, a 14 year old girl from the same dimension as Jaycee. Cynical and utterly sadistic at times, but also totally in love with Brock, who finds the sensitive side of her, and learns to love it. she has a knack of seeing the truth in every situation, and tends to act on this, much to Jaycee’s chagrin.

Giovanni, a shady man, the boss of Team Rocket.

Rachel, the flirtatious receptionist at Team Rocket HQ, of whom little is known except that she’s the receptionist, and she’s flirtatious.

Nurse Joy, the nurse at every Pokémon Center known to man. The object of Brock’s affections quite regularly. Far too friendly.

And a whole lot of Pokémon!

Prologue

Ninetails had been feeling strange for days. Looking at herself in the water, she noticed an odd blue tinge to her normally creamy white fur. It had all began, she reasoned, about a week ago. She had been trapped in a cage which had sprung up from the ground, and men and women in black suits had taken her to some old building. There, they had exposed her to a blue glowing stone. They concluded that the stone had no effect, and roughly set her free again. They would pay for that, she decided. A couple of days later, she had noticed strange blue dust beginning to form on her coat, the same color as the stone had been. She could expel the dust at her will, and had found it quite useful as an attack, although she wasn’t sure what it actually did. But she hated the horrible itchy stuff, even if it did make her coat look shiny and sparkly. Ninetails was above going into water, so could only lick at her coat to get it clean. she left the lake in search of food. there was a storm brewing, she could tell, and she wanted to eat before the downpour. But as winter got nearer, food was getting scarcer. She let out a long howl which eased her anxiety somehow. For a few moments after the howl, everything went eerily silent. Then all at once the usual noise of assorted Pokémon arose once more. Ninetails padded through the trees silently to resume her search.
