Rules - RPG rules.
You MUST read these rules before playing.
You are now able to train using one move. I.E. you can get the bonus of basic training and learn a move at the same time. You may also work while learning a move or training although the time it takes to gain X pl or learn a move will increase .5 x (number of turns needed to complete move etc).
Basics
This RPG consists of e-mailing me and telling me what you would like to do, i.e. train, learn a move battle, buy an item, etc. Each e-mail MUST have a subject of "DBZ RPG" and you are only allowed Two e-mails a day.
Turns
The turns system will be the same as before with 2 turns a day that can be kept and used for later use. I WILL NOT DELETE CHARACTERS IF INACTIVE FOR A WEEK. (This doesnt mean I will never delets someone but it certainly won't be a week.) The turns page will hold this info.
Scouter
The scouter will have a bigger roll in this new RPG. It will still be used to find Dragon Balls but since you can no longer see a person's stats it will show you the stats in battle. Your opponents PrLvl will be e-mailed to you and/or each member of your party. It will not be revealed in the battles area. Note that you cannot see a person's PrLvl if it is over 1,000,000. In that case your scouter and the scouters of anyone in your party will be destroyed. I will allow you to tell me if you want to bring your scouter into battle or not.
Battles
In a battle you will have 3 options.
- Sneak Attack - Battle your opponent without ANYONE knowing, they cannot escape.
- Known Attack - All players will see this battle in the upcoming battles area.
- Normal Attack - No players see the battle as upcoming however the opponent may escape.
E-mail me to battle someone, YOU MUST BE ON THE SAME PLANET to do so. AS ALWAYS ONE BATTLE A WEEK PER PERSON.
Player Login
You will have to login with your password to see your stats.
DragonBalls
Once all the Dragonballs are gathered, you can wish for anything, yes even immortality!!! You can wish for the return of your friends to the living world or anything else (we'll tell you if a wish is reasonable)!!! It's up to you. Wishes are limited you know. I will decline things that are too powerful. Remember, the dragonballs cannot exceed the power of their creator!!! Such things will be that you cannot wish to be immortal for more than your next 3 battles. You cannot wish for more than $1,500,000 and cannot wish for your PrLvl to be boosted by more than 10,000,000 or 2X. E-mail me when you have all 7 and i'll tell you if you can be granted your wish. (Your team still has the limitations if they are used in a team, however you may wish for up to $2,000,000.)
THE NEXT DIMENSION
1. Ok, when you die, you're dead, there is no coming back. You remain in the next dimension until you are wished back to the mortal plane. You can also return to Earth by attempting to sneak by King Yamma, which can only be done at the Earth check-in station. But beware, if you get caught, you will lose 15% of your pl. You get a big pl boost when you are returned to life, but that's why friends are good to have in this game. You don't want to be in the next dimension forever...
2. If you die of natural causes, you are gone forever, unless you want to be dishonorable and return with 20% of your PrLvl and -100, (Evil), as your alignment. Otherewise you can restart your char with a PrLvl of 10,000 and all your previous moves and items. (Money and Henchmen are gone.) You will then return to Earth.
Areas of next dimension:
Check-in station
This is where you come after dying in the physical plane. This is the only place where you can sneak out. King Yamma lives here, and if he catches you sneaking out, you lose 15% of your pl. Snake road starts here, and you may ONLY start running from here. Or you may hire the street cleaner, but you might fall off. You may only battle people who are at the check-in station when you are here. You may choose to descend to HFIL from here if you wish by jumping off the beginning of Snake road. Also, King Yamma has a few things to offer.......
HFIL (HELL)
You go here after being knocked off of Snake road, knocked off King Kai's, or if you jump off the check-out station. You may NOT jump from King Kai's or Snake road. Mez and Gauz, the two ogres, live here. They will teach you 2x speed and 2x strength if you want. They are also willing to sell some of King Yamma's fruit (for a price, after all, King Yamma never looks anyways). Don't get too rowdy, or they'll teach you a lesson. To get back onto snake road, you must climb out of King Yamma's drawer (2 turns). THEN you may begin snake road again.
Snake Road
This takes 10 turns to reach the end, and 10 turns when you are returning. Traveling gives you power. Along the way is Princess Snake's house. She's selling a few items, so stop on by. You may fight anyone else who is running snake road at the time you are. But be careful not to get knocked off or fall off the street cleaner (if you hired one.)
King Kai's Planet
At last, You made it! Stay awhile. Train and learn all King Kai has to teach you. It took you a whole 10 turns to get here (or 8 with cleaner). Since this planet has so much gravity, it is much harder to get knocked off of it. You're travel back to the check-in will be 10 turns, unless you did all of the training. In that case it will only take 5 turns to get back.
RULING A PLANET
You may declare rule of a planet if you have over 2,000,000 power (ruling is fun, so it's a high power minimum). Any planet you find is automatically yours (obviously....) and rule may not be taken away from you if you found the planet. After declaring rule, e-mail me and I'll put it up on the main page. If no one challenges you (to challenge you must be on the planet) in 5 days, you get control of the planet. When in control of the planet, you may hold tournaments with a cash bonus of $1000 towards the prize (this is automatic, anything else you add is fine). Also, all items are half-price for you. You may leave the planet, but if at anytime you are defeated you lose your control (if defeated on your planet, the person who beats you gets control). Then you must start again. You must be on a planet to declare it yours.
TENKAICHI BUDOKAI TOURNAMENTS
1.Tournament matches will be held the same way as regular battles.
2.In the Tekaichi Budokai touraments, you are only allowed to select a maximum of THREE attacks, and up to ONE transformation. The attacks and transformations you choose MUST be ones you know.
3.You must be on earth to compete in the tournament.
4.Losers will not die. They will only be sent back to where they came from.
5.You must be alive to enter.
6.Winners of the Tenkaichi Budokai will recieve one Earth Dragonball wish, (the DragonBalls will still be available), and free transportation to any planet they want.
MAKING TEAMS
Teams Can be made in this game. They can go around destroying planets, taking out possible threats or what have you. If you've got the green, they've got the power. A team consists of more than one character in a group. They must all have transportation and must complete a team's joining ritual if they have one. You can only join a team with the same honorability as you do. When you e-mail me to create a team please give my a password for its login.
Honorability/Alignment
You may have noticed that some abilities and rules refer to allegiance or honor. This is whether you are good or evil in the game. It is shown on the character screen and in your login. It also appears on Planets and in Teams. A planet's honor is distinguished by either who RULES the planet or if not ruled by who is in magority. (More Evil than Good the planet is EVil.) Teams can ONLY have one set honor so all members must follow suite. (If a person is neutral he/she gets a -1 or 1 honor depending on the chosen teams honorability. If all members are neutral then the team is neutral. So a neutral person can join ANY team, but will then have their honor changed by that team.) The honor system goes from Evil to Good using a scale of -100 to 100, 0 is neutral and -100 is the most evil as 100 is the most good you can be. You gain or loose honorability in battles. If YOU CHOOSE to attack a good player and you are evil regardless of whether you win or loose you will become more evil and loose 5 honor points. (-5 becomes -10) It is the other way around if YOU CHOOSE to attack an Evil player and you are good. (5 becomes 10) However if you are Evil and attack another Evil player then you GAIN 5 HONOR becomeing more of the opposite in this case Good. (-5 becomes 0 and -30 becomes -25) As always this works both ways. If both players are neutral then you must read Sarting Honor in the next section. Each class of Good and Evil have separite speacial abilities. Evil has the ability to be a Majin and Good can use and deflect a spirt bomb. (Each learns these characteristics automatically) Good can also HEAL themselves after battle in 6 turns and during battle to a certain LIMITED extent. (You can't come near death and expect instantly to become healed by tour opponents next attack.)
STARTING HONOR
As you start the game you have 0 honor and are neutral. In this case how can you gain or loose honor? You can't. So when you say you want to attack someone then you say whether you want to be compassionate(Good), tormenting(Evil) or just impersonal(Neutral). Only the vistor gets to have his/her honor adjusted if your opponent wins he get the e-mail telling him to give a choice and your honor stays the same. It may take quite some time before your honor is at some lvl.
SPECIES RULES
Humans
Humans have no restrictions. They are the most likeable of all the species. Humans learn moves much quicker than other species. They can also learn all the transformations. Learning is 1 turn less. Stats: +3,+3,+3 per 4,000
Saiyans
Saiyans are the least liked of all the species. Saiyans are pretty much normal with learning new things. The advantage for saiyans is that they can go Super Saiyan. PrLvl raises 120% vs. other species. Stats: +4,+3,+2 per 5,000
Monsters
Monsters are pretty much a generalization of all those who do not really fit in. Monsters are very quick and for this they always attack first in a battle. They can also learn all the transformations. Cannot escape from one in battle. Stats: +5,+2,+2 per 4,000
Nameks
Nameks are the green skinned aliens from the planet Namek. Their ability is to regenerate rather than use a regeneration tank. They automatically have this and can also use it in a battle to a certain degree. All Nameks also immediatly know Namek Language. Stats: +2,+4,+3 per 4,000
Androids
As you can see on the characters page, some androids have the abilities copy and absorb. Copy is the ability of an android to copy the move of their enemy for that battle. Absorb is the ability to absorb energy atacks to a certain degree. You also have unlimited endurance. Stats: +3,+3 per 4,000
Majins
There are very few Majins, and the only special thing they have is taking on the abilities of the second half of their race. Like if they are part Saiyan, they can go Oozaru, and SSJ. This ability is quite useful. You MUST have a negative honor. Majins have 1 other bonus they have a 5% chance of changing the mind of there oponent. They can then make that oponent harm itself or do a deed for him. Such as attacking another rival or buying him an item. THIS LASTS FOR ONLY 4 TURNS AND IF USED IN BATTLE CANNOT BE USED ELSEWHERE. He also can absorb some light attacks.
