Back in the year A.C. 175, the leader of the colonies, Heero Yuy, was assasinated by an unknown OZ gunman. The colonies were thrown into chaos.

15 years later, Operation Meteor: 5 rebel scientists in the colonies who designed the original mobile suit, Tallgeese, completed making their own advanced mobile suits called "Gundams" after the name of their armor, which were all made individually at each of the 5 colony clusters.

The year is A.C. 195, rebel colonists have sent the five Gundams to Earth to wage war against OZ. After a few months, OZ realizes that the only way to get the practically invincible gundams to stop fighting is to convince the colonies that they could merge and have peace. The colonies agreed, and sided with OZ, leaving the Gundam pilots with no place to go. The gundam pilots make their way into outer space, losing each other, later they come to find each other once again. But to face another enemy, the White Fangs, which are colony rebels, but do not side with the Gundams.

The Gundam Team, White Fangs, and World Nation (created by Relena Peacecraft after becoming a Queen at the Romefeller foundation) all come to one final showdown at the White Fangs super-battle ship, Lebra, which they siezed from the last of OZ's troops.

It is the year After Colony (AC)195, Operation Meteor. The Earth Spere Alliance harshly oppresses the colonies with human-like fighting machines called "mobile suits". A secret society called "OZ" has infiltrated into the Alliance, and drove the Earth and colonies into war.

As Lebra is destroyed, one fourth of the battle ship falls into the atmosphere. With no options left, Heero takes the Wing Zero into the atmosphere to prevent the what was left of the battle ship from bringing the end of humanity on the Earth. Heero finally gets a lock on the ship with the Zero's buster rifle and destroys the chunk of titanium and steel before it can cause any harm to the Earth.
