Sayjin Forms

The Saiyans are a evil group whose main objective is grow stronger and stronger.The Saiyans are natural born fighters. They very similar to humans except fo their tail. The average Saiyan's power level is about 1,000 and a humans is about 5-10. Their life span is longer than humans too. After every battle their power grows substantially. When they are healled from a mortal wound, their power level grows at least 40%. They also have the ability to change into Oozaru (giant ape-like beasts) which raises their power level 10-fold. To transform into Oozaru, they need a tail and a full moon. They worked for the evil Frieza. Before the arrival of Radditz, Frieza was concerned that the Saiyans would grow more powerful than he, so he decided to kill them off. Bardock and King Vegeta Tried to stop him, but their attempt was in vain and Frieza destroyed the planet Vegeta. The only remaining Saiyans were Vegeta, Nappa, Radditz, and Kakarot (Goku's Saiyan name).

The Super Saiyan Legend

The legend is passed to generation to generation of an extrordinary Saiyan fighter born every 1,000 years, who has the ability to tranform into a Super Saiyan. The 1,000 year part is wrong. Every Saiyan has the ability, it is difficult to do this without strong emotions. The old time Saiyans were usually were without strong emotions, so it was very rare for a Super Saiyan to appear. The trigger to tranform into a Super Saiyan is unbound anger or grief. Usually a tramatic event triggers the transformation. Super Saiyan's ki is a golden flame, their eyes tun green and their hair turns gold and spiked up. A Saiyan's power, speed, endurance, agility, and mental awareness increase greatly in this stage. Goku was the first to reach this stage. This happened when Frieza killed his best friend Krillin and almost killed Piccolo. The second Saiyan to reach this stage was Vegeta. Vegeta trained at 300x gravity to try and reach Super Saiyan. When he was training in space, he realized he never beat Goku without turning into a Super Saiyan. He got so angry at himself that he transformed into a Super Saiyan. Gohan turned into a Super Saiyan when he was training with Goku in the room of Spirit and Time. Trunks and Goten were the youngest to turn Super Saiyan. The Saiyans to achieve this stage are Goku, Vegeta, Goten, Gohan, Trunks, and Brolly.

"Super" Super Saiyan

The only Saiyans to achieve this stage is Vegeta and Marai Trunks (Future Trunks). Vegeta didn't stay in this stage because it made him to slow. In the Super Saiyan stage, the person looks exactly like a regular Super Saiyan except for an increase in physical muscle. The person has the ability to focus his ki on certain aspects.

Super Saiyan 2

This is the next true level after Super Saiyan. Gohan was the first to reach this stage. SS2 increases all aspects of a Super Saiyan. It slits the hair little bit more and electricity surrounds the person. This level doesn't require a trigger. It requires hard training in Super Saiyan mode to get this power The only ones to achieve this are Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan.

Super Saiyan 3

The only ones to reach this stage is Goku and Gotenks. Vegeta has the ability to to transform into this stage, but skips it and goes on to Super Saiyan 4. Goku skipped SS2 and went to SS3. In SS3 they look like SS2, except their hair grows much, much, longer and their eyebrows go away. It is a lot harder to reach this stage then SS2. Being in this form puts a lot of strain on a person and it increases the aging of the person.

Super Saiyan 4

Two people reached this stage in the GT series. Vegeta and Goku. Vegeta gained this stage by a device made by Bulma. Goku gained it naturally.You need a tail to become SS4. In SS4 stage the hair is black and less spiked. Their is no golden ki flame and electricity. The person's eye's are red. The person's grow reddish black fur. This the strongest form possible other than SS4 Oozaru and SS4 Gogeta. It is also hard to stay in this stage for long.

Oozaru

Oozaru is the giant beast that the Saiyans turn into when they see the light of the full moon. The first time we see this in dbz is when Vegeta used his ebergy ball to turn into Oozaru. There is another form of Oozaru named Golden Oozaru. It looks like a regular Oozaru except Golden. Vegeta, Goku, and Gohan are the only ones to reach Oozaru, with an exception with the other Saiyans of Planet Vegeta before it was destroyed. Vegeta and Goku were te only ones to achieve its Golden Stage in GT. They could only achieve it in Super Saiyan 4.
