Cid is one of the main characters in FFVII. He's a tough talking, warm-hearted old pilot. His dreams were destroyed after Shinra stopped funding his space program. There is no better pilot in the air or on the sea. With his skill of handling spears, and his knowledge of machinery, he is a very helpful companion throughout the game.
