Bane's Background: Biography version

Kellorr Vaine was born at the start of the Clone Wars on the planet Mandalore. By the age of six, Kellorr was at the top of his training class. The Mandalorian Warriors soon accepted Kellorr into elite training. Vaine passed the training with flying colors, doing better than people over twice his age. Kellorr became the most skilled trainee of the training facility.

By that time the Clone Wars had ended and Vader was eliminating the last pockets of Jedi. When Kellorr was 12, the Dark Lord of the Sith had discovered a large pocket of Jedi on the moon of Mandalore.

Not too much later, Vader showed up in the Mandal system and demanded the Mandalorians allow the Imperial Task Force to clean up the disruption. The Mandalorians, seeking peace, blatantly refused. Minutes later, a laser blast from an ISD vaporized the Supreme Bashar, his house, and everything in it. The Mandalorian wrath had ben concurred.

All of the Warrior Reserves were called. All the advanced students sent for. Everyy single Mandalorian Warrior in the vicinity stopped what they were doing and set off for the moon, where the Imperial troops were already landing to destroy the jedi. The ensuing battle was disasterous for all sides.

It started out with the Mandalorians having the lead, destroying the Imperials. The Jedi were about trying to defend themselves and killing all others. The stormtroopers were firing and hardly any landed any hits. Somehow, against all odds, the Imperials and the Jedi teamed up on the Mandalorians, knowing that if they didn't the Mandalorians would surely destroy them all. During the battle, the orbiting Star Destroyers laid waste to the nearly defenseless planet Mandalore and extinguished all life. Kellorr, among those on the moon, was staggered by the total demolition of his homeplanet. Imperial reinforcements came. Mandalorians were slaughtered. Kellorr barely escaped from the onslaught, flying away in his personally modified skipray blastboat, the Desolation. The Imperials then turned on the Jedi, obliterating them all. Kellorr was the only Mandalorian survivor of the Battle of Mandalore. He then declared vengence on the Empire and the Jedi, swearing that he would destroy them all or die trying.

Kellorr took up the pseudonym "Bane" (for reason see above quote). Bane became a bounty hunter and has taken many Imperial lives. Bane has killed over 500 stormtroopers and 12 royal guardsmen. He lost his helmet and jetpack in the melee with the squad of royal guardsmen, but still has the rest of his red Mandalorian Armor as a memento to days of old.
