Vertigo Transfusion is my new sound project with which I try to take the darker side of my mind and vision, and mutate it into musical form. For lack of a simpler term, to describe what I will be doing, I have chosen "psycho-hypno-terror music" to label what you are anxiously awaiting. My project is mostly born of electronic origin, influenced mainly by bands such as Kode IV, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Thrill Kill Kult, Marilyn Manson, Leather Strip and other such atrocities. Although heavily electronic in style, there will also be grinding guitar littered among some of Vertigo's tracks, so don't expect everything to sound exactly the same. I haven't fully decided on whether I want this project to be a touring band, or just an underground group of musicians with a smaller cult following, but probably the latter. Therefore if any of you would like to collaborate with me to be included in this project, email me directly at villainvango@godisdead.com for details, and we can work something out. Anyone is welcome to email, guitarists, bassists, keyboardists/samplers, singers....whatever. For the moment I have a couple of people in mind to add on some of my tracks, but for the most part I am just writing and recording everything myself right now. Anyone interested in collaborating online, should have a way to record your music and mix down to mp3 format to send to me. I will then do final mixes to add your track over my masters. I do plan on releasing CDs even if I choose not to tour, so if you collaborate you will receive a cut of the sales along with credits for the song(s) you appear on. All music will be copyright either Vertigo Transfusion or RustedBrain Productions, and anyone with whom I work with online should be aware that any of the music you receive to collaborate on will be sent to you under a working copyright. If you are already in another band, that's fine as long as you aren't breaking contract, or pissing off your fellow band mates by appearing.
