"Where's my woman?" AJ laughed maniacally, racing down the crowded corridor and swooping Sarah up in his arms. He spun her around, planting a big wet kiss on her mouth.
"AJ, put me down!" Sarah laughed, looking around nervously for Howie. She spotted him over by the stage doors, leaning lazily against a wall, a curious smile on his face. Their eyes met and he nodded his head at her, winking once before turning back to his conversation with Nick.
"We'll see you after the show, right?" AJ held her closer than he should, their bodies pressed together, his eyes seeing right through hers.
"Ummm ... sure. I'll be there." Sarah cleared her throat, nodding nervously.
"Awesome. It'll be a night to remember." Planting a quick kiss on her lips, AJ took off for the dressing room.
"There you are, and damn if you don't look sexy tonight." The low voice was attached to the tall, sturdy body of the man who had wrapped his arms around her from behind.
Craning her neck to see, Sarah caught a flash of deep green eyes just before her mouth was claimed in yet another searing kiss. His hips pressed against her bottom, and his tongue touched hers briefly as he quickly released her.
"K- Kevin..."
"Nice dress," he drawled, "you *do* know that's my favorite color on you?"
"No," she croaked. "Ummm ... no, I didn't." She had begun to perspire profusely, and Howie was nowhere to be seen.
"Well, it is, and you look absolutely edible tonight."
Edible. God, her mind immediately went back to sandwiches ...
"See you later at the club, Sarah. Enjoy the show." He kissed her neck and was gone.
That voice ... oh my god ... and Howie... where *was* he?

"Howie, are you *sure* about this?"
"AJ, you gotta trust me on this one." Howie smiled.
"I'm not so sure, D," Kevin countered. "I've never seen her that flustered before."
"Trust me, guys. This is gonna be a night she'll never forget." He smiled, remembering her cries from the dark of the night, and for once in his life wished they could just skip the show and get right to the after party.
Clapping his friends on the back, they went to take their places on the stage. Let's get on with the show, he thought, grinning to himself.
