2.04.03--- Hello Speed Freak fans and first timers. A lot has happened since last fall. Midnight Skater was finished and had a great premiere at the North Water Street Art Gallery. Since then chief producer, Andy Campbell, has started filmming a new project called "Poison Sweethearts." Although production has slowed a bit since the initial filmming, it is guarenteed to be filled with the blood and guts you'd expect from a Speed Freak Production. 8.21.02--- It's true, it's true. Midnight Skater is complete. Speed Freak Productions first full length film (1 hour & 40 min. to be exact) is a now a reality. The premiere of the movie will be at the Kiva, located on the Kent State University campus! More showings at the Mantis, University Theatre, and other venues are in the works. A few lose ends such as movie covers and previews still need done so the movie will probably be for sale on video around mid September. Thanks again to everyone involved in making Midnight Skater.
7.8.02--- Editing Midnight Skater is almost complete! We're down to the last 15 minutes or so of the movie! Hopefully, we can find a solution to providing a soundtrack soon.
6.17.02--- "IT HAS BEGUN!" Last Thursday post production on Midnight Skater began. The first official scene of the moive has been edited. A lot more time should be spent in the editing room this week so things are starting to move along nicely.
6.10.02--- Speed Freak Productions got to promote Midnight Skater on the radio last Friday night in Alliance, Ohio. Cast members Roza Haidet, Nick Jackson and Andrew Mercer were guest on WRMU 91.1's late night program. The Speed Freak actors talked about the movie and their characters as well as some of their past films. Thanks to Jukin' Jesse for the opportunity!
6.5.02--- The filming of Midnight Skater ran into a wall yesterday when Kent Police issued a $100 ticket to crew member Andy Campbell. The fine halted shooting for the evening and will put the movie even further behind schedule.
5.14.02--- Filming on Midnight Skater is about to resume after a much needed two week break. Not including any re-shoots, about 85% of the MNS has been shot. May 31 is still the estimated date for completion of the production stages.
4.23.02--- I am proud to say that we are currently over 50% done with the production stages of Midnight Skater. Filmming is going well, and we expect to be finished with filmming by the end of May. The film will be edited over the summer and will hopefully have its debut around August. Check back for more updates and a new set of pictures from the making of the Midnight Skater!

4.4.02-- - In the past few weeks we have been getting a lot of work done on the filming of Midnight Skater. Currently we are about 15% through the actual filming stages. A lot of the footage needs leaves on the trees, so we have to wait for actual Spring. Everything we've shot so far is great, and the end result should be the best SFP to date!

3.25.02--- Currently we are in the middle of filming for Midnight Skater and creating this web site. Check back later for more info and pictures on the progress of the movie along with web site updates.
