RAISING HERO CHAO
Making a hero chao is obviously the first step in raising one. For new players who don't know how, you simply have to use a hero character (Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles) to play with it. Just keep petting it until it is white with a blue sphere. Then when it matures (which requires some quality time) it will become a hero chao and the hero chao garden will become available. To quickly make your hero chao strong, use Tails and go to the Prison Lane action stage (you can quickly get Chaos Drives in this stage). Get ten Drives then exit and give them to your chao. Note that this takes a LONG time to do since the highest level of a chao's ability is level 99 and that is about what most of your abilities have to be at to defeat the final chao in Chao Karate. It is tough getting your Hero Chao that strong but it is all worth it in the end. If you don't feel like going through all of that and you have plenty of rings, buy a lot of Chao fruit at the black market. The thing about Hero chao when the mature with animal qualities is that the animal feature become larger and stronger looking, unlike dark chao that change the color of the animal features.
