Appearance: He wears a long black duster (it oft times appears dark purple in bright light) with white stripes on the arms and front forming a cross. Black trousers and a tight black turtleneck cover the body and thick black boots protect his feet. Ritter wears a pair of black sunglasses, even in the dead of night, a pair of tight black gloves, and an unusually charismatic sleepy look to him.

Background: Born within Aszeroth during the Reign of Disaster, Ritter's past is shrouded in mystery. He's first and foremost a gambler and cardshark, but is also an exceptionally capable thief working for Uisge's uncle in the sewers.

Strengths: Ritter's magic base is the mysterious magic of Chance, his sleight of hand skills are phenominal, as is his memory. He can memorize the sequence of the cards in a deck just by watching them fall while being shuffled. He's a con-artist, thief and cheat, and has been known to kill someone at the table if they refuse to pay their debt. He works for Uisge's uncle in Aszeroth, but will take his orders only from Uisge. His strength in battle is his agility, quick thinking and lightning fast reflexes, his weapon allowing for both distance and close range combat. Though far more exceptional than that of most others, Ritter's memory is not the only power of the mind he possesses. He is a pure telepath, able to not only read thoughts, but manipulate them as well.

Weaknesses: Confusion affects Ritter the most, he hears the thoughts of everyone around him, not just his opponent. The status effect of Confusion will only amplify his already flustered judgement and an ally can as easily be his target as an enemy.

Other: Many of Ritter's victims fall prey to an elaborately planned "accident" that they walk into completely unaware of. He is also exceptionally adept with his Harigane, a thin metal wire about ten feet long, but has a compulsive habit of chewing on it. He is also prone to take uncalculated risks, risks that would lead anyone else to death but mysteriously turn favorable to Ritter.

Special Skills:

Jack of Diamonds: this skill is not an attack, but a restorative tactic for his allies. He simply casts a barrier around his group and slows the movements of their opposing foes.

Jack of Spades: using this attack, Ritter unleashes a flurry of graceful movements with his Harigane, slicing through his opponent before they even realize they've been struck with it.

Jack of Clubs: using his ability to manipulate thoughts, Ritter simple walks his opponent in front of some oncoming vehicle. (this skill requires some form of heavy machinery or motorized transportation, in Aszeroth, he generally walks them in front of a train).

Jack of Hearts: using his telepathic prowess, Ritter will foce his opponent to think their heart has stopped beating, causing them to become disoriented in their frenzy to cure themselves.

Guardian Stats:

SKIRMISH

Skirmish is invisible to the naked eye, she moves as a current of motion through the air, and is completely unseen to everyone but Ritter if standing still. Her skill, Sixth Sense, is not an attack, but essentially a third eye for Ritter as Skirmish scouts and telepathically relays what lies ahead of the him or the party.
