You're sitting in a dark quite room,
too tired of your walk
and waiting -you don't know for whom-
maybe someone to talk.

Someone who cares, who sees in you
the feelings that you hide,
someone always protective through
the darkness of the night.

Ambition rules, work and careers
and no one wants to hear
how often you end up in tears
or what's your greatest fear.

Say, do you stay or flee outside?
Your body longs to cry.
You don't know through your inner fight
what's true or what's a lie.

But cruel is the reality,
it cuts you like a knife,
where each one of society
just cares for his own life.

Your hope dies with the evening sun
and pain makes you confess:
You can't -no matter where you run-
escape the loneliness.
