There is one major catch to life
Everything you get comes at a price
But when you give does it come back
That has not been a proven fact
Untrue that the sinners are sent to hell
To them that's what life is, so death is swell
To the prayers there is coincidence of change
But in actuality their lives stay the same
No tears are spent to rise any more
Blood is how people see your sores
Could they see it in your eyes?
Beyond the filthy blank disguise
The murderer could bring a lost girl back home
And give up his life to become God's own
But did he still murder the way he did?
After all he will deny whatever is said
No one will pick him out in a crowd
And scream painfully and sadly aloud
He appears the same as the devout on the street
The ones who give their lives for ends to meet
They suffer and suffer in hope of some truth
But slowly their worlds simply fall loose
So is there a light at the end of the tunnel
Or is a train coming steady, ready to pummel
Give up your heart to someone you know
And they cannot tell if it doesn't show
You could waste your life with them in your head
And they could pay no attention instead
There's a darkness inside burning to burst
To bring out the sin, the evil, the worst
You'd never know that there is nothing
Until you've lost all your everything
And you'll never know you have it all
Until it's gone to deaths screeching call
Time can burn through your life
Taking away chances that were so tight
Fate is what caused all the scars
Life was already written in the stars
Take me away to find something more
Something that stitches the wounds you tore
I want to leave so badly it burns inside
Now there is nothing left to hide
Fear is a chill on the back of my neck
Your breathing is heard, im a nervous wreck
The difference in this freedom is enough
Better than living this life that's so tough
Could I leave all I know right now
I couldn't even imagine how
The new paint already peels from the walls
Lost its appeal as my whole life falls
Something more is out there that I need to reach
If God could, I wish he could teach
An angel hovers to be burned in the flames
Of all of life's unfair demon games
Wings are broken under an open sky
Looking up, I wonder why
Seeing the moonlight shining bright
I wish I was flying through the night
Im stuck in the cobweb of death himself
But if he was here could I help myself
