In The Labyrinth of Life

In The Labyrinth Of Life
all you have to do is do something wrong and
your friends desert
you you are left all alone
all alone to cry no one to comfort you
why did you do wrong?
you have no clue
you think you were doing
the right thing but apparently not
now you go to school everyone stares at you with hateful glares
you are left alone
all alone no one to help you deal with anger
no one to help you deal with fear
happiness, fear, anger, sadness
no one sympathizes you
they all pity you
in the labyrinth of life
no one likes you they all pity or loathe you
in the labyrinth of life
your parents are ashamed of you
they leave you all in shame
your role as teachers pet has now disappeared
the principal now despises you
you are left alone
in the labyrinth of life
as you walk down the crowded halls of school
everyone stares and whispers
there she goes, the screw-up'
you avert their eyes and you try to ignore
but they bore into your head
in the labyrinth of life
in the labyrinth of life
all alone you run away and
try to avert the questioning eyes of strangers as you run
you think you will die
you will
you stand on the side of a bridge
overlooking the water waves crashing on the rocks
'i will do it' you think
then a voice breaks in as you're about to jump
'do you need help' a male stranger asks
you shake your head and prepare to jump
he grabs your arms and stops you
you look in his eyes
and his eyes are silently pleading
you go with him to a new life, a new home
with him, not alone
in the labyrinth of life
