Fire Inside
the confusion grows and tangles
frozen memories start to heat
blow out all your candles
feel the darkness of your heartbeat
real has long past faded
all you know is what’s in your mind
now you've become so jaded
your heaviness got you far behind
stumbling through the tangles you made
you can feel your eyes shut tight
your throat has begun to itch and ache
for you viciously scream for the light
waking up is an adventure
since life is just dream
you cannot take much more
you think everything is some evil scheme
the world turns to be so dark
you fling out your hands to find your way
you don’t see what’s there, just what’s in your heart
how do you make it through each day?
you feel betrayed and so alone
no one understands your pain
all you want is to find a home
someone who will be there and remain
your pain is so deep and hurts so much
feel the coruptness flow through your veins
your the devils possession, you feel his touch
awful visions and thoughts entered with his reign
your mind is controlled, its no longer free
your soul is burning out it seems
you are tortured everyone's pain and agony
now you know too much, you want out of their dreams
tears stream as if they would drown out the world
no on can know about these secrets
but you know its too late, you've already told
you weren’t strong enough to hold in these frets
you feel so exposed and hurt you want to be killed
but life is too precious to leave so fast
your love burns and tingles, you will be strong willed
love's warmth keeps you alive, you live for the past
So now you sit alone without desire
and watch your skin as it burns with fire
the fire, though, will not sink in
for life still boils deep within
