O.K., I'm finally out of school, and I have time to work more on my site. I'm getting my news section, the reason I really created this site. I feel current news has got to be taken seriously and, untill I can get some decent message boards (gee, thanks angelfire) I have to resort to having people e-mail me and posting that. If you want to comment on the thread, or you know where I can get some decent message boards, e-mail me at the bottom of the page.
Todays topic, the gun restriction on pilots. I know most people have their own opinion on this so I want you to send it to me. The pilots of several thousand planes across America are demanding to be allowed to carry fire-arms on-board of the airplanes. Several reasons have been given to say that they cannot, and this is why I am mad. Most of the people who are saying that they can't feel it is, "Too risky", because they should,"be fully concentrating on their task at hand, not playing cowboy with terrorists". Personaly, I think those people are the same people who think the Redskins have an offensive name. Have these people ever been in an actual cockpit? All the pilot has to do is type in several variables, check a few constants, press go and lie back waiting for something to go wrong.
Not allowing them to be armed is, in my mind, a violation of their constitutional (spelling?) right to bear arms. Thank you, NRA. If a group from and terrorist crime cindicate(spelling? again) came and stated slitting throats on a plane, I would feel unGodly guilty if I sat in my seat with my co-pilot and tried to ignore it. I would want to do something. Besides, If that door gets opened, which it will, eventually, then the people are dead anyway. I would have to take a defiant stand at all costs.
Now, like I said, anyone who wishes to post anything should just e-mail me at ted_fred_ned3@hotmail.com
Thank you, and God bless America.
